This course is designed to equip architects / architectural assistants / graduates / students, or other interested parties related to the building profession, with a range of skills in using Autodesk Revit Architecture, from work stages of schematic design, contract documents to building construction.

 

l   Introduction of BIM

l   Applications of BIM in building industry, implications in urban design and case studies

l   Revit modeling

l   BIM in architectural design, communications and presentations

l   Multi-discipline co-ordinations

l   BIM in Hong Kong Government submission

l   Quantity taking and preparation of Bills of Quantity

l   Preparation of contract drawings

l   Team implementation

l   BIM in construction

Assessment would be based on class participation and a design project using BIM / Revit Architecture.

A Statement of Achievement will be issued to participants who meet all the assessment and attendance requirements.
