AIAB BIM Conference 2009 – “BIM Profession in Practice” Conference was well received in Hong Kong on 23^rd October 2009 at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. This event is organized by Autodesk Industry Advisory Board (AIAB), co-organized by The American Institute of Architects Hong Kong Chapter (AIAHK), The Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) and The HK Institute of Building Information Modeling (HKIBIM).

This year is the 5^th year of AIAB BIM Conference in Hong Kong, attracting more than 200 attendees from all sectors including Government sector, property developers and AEC industries executives. After welcome speech by AIAB Chairman, Mr. David Fung and Keynote speech by Dr. Calvin Kam, Director of Industry Programs, CIFE of Stanford University and Vice President of Optima Consulting to share with us on “Award-winning BIMs”, the conference was formally kicked off. This year, we have invited seven professional speakers from Hong Kong for experience sharing about the latest trend and development of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology by Autodesk Revit solutions.
